In BodyTalk, practitioners communicate with the innate wisdom of the body using neuromuscular biofeedback also known as *muscle checking or applied kinesiology.
We use this simple technique to receive “yes” or “no” answers directly from the body’s innate intelligence and apply it to locate weakened lines of communication in the body and also to find the proper order in which they are to be re-established.
Just as the body heals a wound with a particular sequencing of chemical reactions, the body wants to address all healing in a certain order. This priority is paramount in the balancing process to initiate the body’s ability to heal itself. By muscle checking in this way, imbalances, breakdowns and other issues can be identified. We use the BodyTalk Protocol Chart like a flow chart in combination with the muscle checking to be directed to areas of the body that are a priority for healing.
Included in the BodyTalk Protocol Chart is a comprehensive list of all aspects of body/mind, both physical and energetic. The practitioner works up and down the protocol chart asking for the priority destination points. Once a destination is determined, the practitioner asks for any additional details that are pertinent. Then the Practitioner will link these destination points in the sequence indicated, thereby constructing a formula needed to reestablish optimum communication within the body. Once all the information is gathered, and the formula is confirmed as the priority for synchronization, the practitioner lightly taps on the client’s head (brain), and then sternum (heart) to facilitate the healing process.
Tapping on the body to help it focus on healing has been used by indigenous and holistic systems, such as Yoga for centuries. Tapping on the head highlights the imbalances to your brain and nervous system by stimulating the brain centers which activates a restorative and balancing process. In essence we are asking the brain to take a second look and re-evaluate the body’s state of health, thus repairing the communication links indicated in the formula.
Tapping on the sternum sends a signal to the heart to store the newly corrected energy patterns in the body’s cellular memory. This anchors the balance so that the body will remember these changes after treatment. Now the body has woken up and been reminded of areas in need of healing. It initiates the healing process and results follow.
* Muscle Checking is a technique that measures the body’s muscle response to a specific substance or question. The muscles of the body will either become weak or strong depending on what is tested.
